JAMMU, July 11: A middle aged man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Kanachack area of the city outskirts.
As per reports, 40-year-old Mangal Dass, son of Rattan Dass of Kanachak allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence.
Finding him hanging, the family members rushed him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The body has been handed over to family members for last rites after completion of legal formalities.
A case has been registered at Kanachack Police Station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
