JAMMU, July 11: Director Command Area Development, Hemant Kumar Sharma inspected the on farm development works executed during 2012-13 and 2013-14 in village Rehyal, Shibu Chak, Pandoria, Chak Hasal and Kullian Kalas.
While interacting with the farmers, the Director appreciated the quality of works done by the technical officers of the department. He appealed the farmers to maintain the field channels property so as to increase the efficiency in usage of water thereby enhancing the production and productivity of the crops in the project area.
He asked the executing agencies to complete all ongoing works in stipulated time frame.
The Director was accompanied by V R Parihar, Project Officer, S&WM, CAD, Dr Rama Kant Sharma, Chief Agriculture Officer, CAD and Assistant Soil Conservation officers of the department.
