LUCKNOW, July 4: Ranked players from 32 states of the country would be participating in the National Junior Boys and Girls Chess Championship-2013, starting here from July 10.
Uttar Pradesh Chess Sports Association, Lucknow District Chess Academy and Lucknow District Chess Sports Association are jointly conducting the event.
The event offers Rs 2 lakh as prize money to the winner while a sum of Rs 22,000 would be given to the runners-ups. The event will be played in age category such as U-19 boys and girls, said UP Chess Sports Association Secretary A K Raizada here today. (UNI)
