JAMMU, Aug 25: Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader and JMC Councillor Sanjay Kumar Baru along with BJP TalabTillo Mandal president, Keshav Chopra today paid a floral tribute to BJP former J&K president and former Member Parliament of Jammu-Poonch Constituency, late Thakur Baldev Singh by organising a ‘shardanjali sabha’ at Wazir Lane Bohri, here today.
District general secretary Adv Karan Sharma and Ward president Ashok Wazir were also present during the event.
On the occasion, Sanjay Kumar Baru said Thakur Baldev Singh ji was a strongman who never compromised on the Party principles. “He was totally a selfless man, who dedicated his whole efforts for the nation, society and the party. His sterling contribution in the building of strong organizations like BJP will always be remembered,” he added.
Baru also threw extensive light on the life and works of Thakur Baldev Singh to strengthen the nationalist forces in the erstwhile State of J&K.
Prominent leaders including Jaideep Singh Samyal, Brijesh Gupta, Vinod Wazir, Rakesh Sharma, Bubesh Thappa, Jatinder Khajuria, Mohan Lal Gupta, Raman Koushal, Rajesh Thakur Sanjay Sharma, Jagdish Manhas, Bhanu Sambyal and others were present during the event.
