Bovines smuggling bid foiled

KISHTWAR, May 2: Chatroo Police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 5 cattle and arresting two smugglers.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Chatroo led by SHO Inspector Sandeep Parihar laid a naka at Bari Nalla Sigdi and intercepted two persons, who were carrying bovine animals.
The persons failed to reply satisfactory reply and police arrested them. Five bovine animals were also rescued.
The arrested persons were identified as Mohammad Amin, son of Hashim Din of Hangerna Waithana and Mohammad Sharief, son of Mohammad Qasim, a resident of Bhatta Sigdi. They were taking the bovines toward Kashmir without any permission.
A case under FIR Number 17/2021 under Sections 188/IPC and 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Chatroo and investigation started.
