2 vehicles seized for illegally lifting sand from river beds

JAMMU, Apr 30: Domana Police and Geology and Mining Department seized two vehicles for illegally lifting sand from river Tawi beds.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Domana and officials of Geology and Mining Department seized 2 vehicles for illegally lifting sand from river beds in Muthi area.
The operation against the illegal sand mafia was launched by SHO Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma under the supervision of SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma.
With the efforts of Domana Police, many dumps of illegal sand were also seized in the past.
