JAMMU, Apr 30: Career Counselling Cell of Government PG College for Women Gandhi Nagar under the aegis of Manodarpan- an initiative of MHRD today organized webinar on the theme ‘Employability and Youth’.
The webinar was inaugurated by College Principal Dr Sangita Nagari. She welcomed the participants and resource person. “The College is focusing on conducting such programmes to help the students by providing them necessary information regarding employability skills and trainings in order to enhance their employability,” Dr Nagari said.
Sunil Baraily, PAN India Mobilization Coordinator, Youth Employability Program (Non Engineering), Corporate Social Responsibility of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was the resource person the event. He guided and motivated the audience regarding competitive exams skill, their nature and the strategy be adopted for the preparation of competitive exams and interviews.
Mr Baraily emphasized upon the difficulties faced by the students and how to avoid/overcome it while preparing for excellence.
Prof Ambica Sharma, coordinator of the programme appealed the participants for further disseminating the skills, information and knowledge among other students, gained from the resource person.
Prof Rajni Kumari, Prof Renu Rajput, Prof Sugandha Mahajan, Prof Eisha Gohil and Prof Syed Shehna were members of the organising committee, whereas Prof Anupama Sharma presented vote of thanks.
