JMC Councillor starts tile work

JAMMU, Apr 3: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Sharda Kumari of Ward 47 here today started tile work at Bhadarwahi Mohalla of her Ward.
The tiles there were in dilapidated condition since long and the residents of the area especially elders were facing a lot of problems while passing through these lanes.
Speaking on the occasion the Councillor said that the general public should come forward and co-operate with JMC in various development works undertaken by the Corporation in Jammu.
She urged upon the residents of her Ward to avoid single use plastic and polythene in routine work and shun the habit of throwing debris, garbage, filth etc in drains and lanes.
Sharda further asked the people of her Ward to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean, green and beautiful city.
Locals Vivek Patyal, Dalveer Khalsa, Surinder, Kuldeep, Girdhari, Jeet Kumar, Rajesh Kotwal, Rishi Billowria, Sujan Singh and others were also present on the occasion.
