Apni Party seeks political reservation for KPs

JAMMU, Mar 24: A corner meeting of Apni Party was held today at Jagti township under the leadership of Sanjay Dhar.
The meeting was addressed by Vinod Pandita and Vishal Jotshi the other leaders of the party who highlighted the genuine problems of displaced Kashmiri Pandits.
The speakers demanded political reservation to KPs in ongoing delimitation, creation of additional ten thousand posts for educated unemployed youth to tackle rising unemployment among them, formation of time bound road map for rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits back in Valley as per their aspirations, sanctioning of small loan schemes for unemployed and over aged youth to start their small business units for earning their bread and butter.
The meeting appealed Lt. Governor, Home Minister and Prime Minister of India to ensure the political reservation of this hapless community in order to empower it politically to end political discrimination meted out to them since decades. They also appealed them to formulate a time bound road map for return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in Valley.
K.L.Raina, Dr.Ashok Dhar, Ravinder Raina, Bushan Lal Hangloo, Sohan Lal Pandita and others also addressed the meeting.
