JAMMU, Mar 21: BJP has lately turned out to be politically vibrant force that popular leaders of other political outfits are coming under its realms for survival of their political careers as NC, PDP, Congress and other parties in J&K have gone astray losing their sheen and relevance.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Minister, Bali Bhagat while addressing Party’s Working Committee meeting of Muthi-Paloura Mandal at Jai Bua Datti Palace, Lower Roop Nagar, near here, today.
Addressing the party leaders and workers, the former Minister said that several leaders of other political outfits are desperately looking for a new base to refurbish their lost glory and in the quest have embraced BJP making it strong force in the region opening avenues for the party to come out with flying colours in the ensuing polls for the UT Assembly. He said that if the true soldiers of the party viz ground level workers will work with consistency no power on earth can stop BJP from forming the next Government in J&K.
Bali Bhagat said that time is ripe to tell the people at grassroots level to avail benefits of all the schemes launched by PM Modi led BJP Government so that they could gauge the difference between BJP and other parties which were at the helm of affairs earlier and decide by themselves that there is no match to this party comprising nationalist leaders and treading on the policy of making India strongest among all. He said the fact also is that BJP in seat means India in safe hands otherwise the parties here have such vested interests that they can go to any extent to have petty political gains.
Without naming any party, Bali Bhagat said that there are instances when some political entities in the erstwhile State of J&K have been exposed badly for indulging in anti-national activities and some of them are still struggling to prove them innocent in the court of law.
Senior BJP leader and former MP Shamsher Singh Manhas, Sukh Dev Singh Jamwal, Karan Singh Chib, Capt (retd) K.L Sharma, Suresh Kumar Khajuria also addressed the workers. JMC Vice Chairman Kuldip Singh Chib, JMC Councilors Rekha Manhas, Kapil Singh Chib, Tripta Devi, Joginder Singh Chib, Sushma Manhas, Hans Raj Manhas, Girdhari Lal Bhagat and Mohinder Paul were also present in the meeting.
