JAMMU, Dec 16: Gharota police arrested four absconders, who were evading their arrest from the past 13 years.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Gharota led by SHO Inspector Mahesh Sharma conducted raid and apprehended four absconders, who were at large since 2013.
The arrested persons were identified as Sonu, son of Som Nath, Sanjeev Kumar, Ravi Kumar and Deepa alias Dimple, trio sons of Parkash, all residents of Punjab.
They were involved in a case registered under Sections 147, 323 and 324 RPC with Police Station Gharota.
They were produced before the 1st Additional Munsiff Forest (JMIC) Court Jammu and were later lodged in Central Jail Amphalla Jammu as per Court order.
