SAMBA, Dec 16: A boy committed suicide after hanging himself with the ceiling fan hook in his house at Ward No 7 here, today.
He has been identified as Deepak Singh, son of Ashok Singh resident of Ward No 7 Samba. He hanged himself with ceiling fan hook with the help of rope under mysterious circumstances late last night at his house. When family members saw him hanging with ceiling fan, they immediately rushed him to District Hospital Samba for treatment where the doctor declared him as brought dead and the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of District Hospital Samba for legal formalities.
After completing the legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handover to the legal heirs for his last rites.
In this regard police has taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigations but the reason behind the extreme steps could not be ascertained.
