KATRA, May 6: A young housewife allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at the house of her-in laws, here today
The deceased, identified as Pooja Devi wife of Madan Lal of Katra, was found hanging with the ceiling hook. She was rushed to hospital by the family members but doctors declared her as brought dead.
Cause behind the extreme step could not be established immediately.
Police have registered as case in this connection under Section 174 CrPC for inquest proceedings.
