Jammu, Dec 1: For implementation of Central Sector Scheme of financing facility under ‘Agriculture Infrastructure Fund’ in Jammu and Kashmir, the J&K Government has constituted a UT Level Monitoring Committee and District Level Monitoring Committees.
The UT Level Monitoring Committee, headed by the chief secretary J&K as its Chairperson, shall implement the National Level Monitoring Committee guidelines at the UT level and provide feedback to NLMC. It shall guide and steer the implementation of the scheme in the UT, examine and approve the selected list of beneficiaries/projects for inclusion in the scheme in consultation with DLMC. This committee shall set the targets as per OOMF format and review the progress regularly.
The District Level Monitoring Committee for each district, headed by the respective deputy committee as its Chairman, shall implement and monitor system within the overall framework. It shall identify the beneficiaries, ensure viability of the project and prepare viable project reports to support the beneficiaries in collaboration with PMU.
The committee shall examine the proposal and recommend to UTLMC for consideration besides setting targets in consultation with UTLMC as per OOMF format and monitor the progress closely with the support of PMU. It shall also maintain the Dashboard in collaboration with PMU and ensure smooth implementation of the scheme and resolve any issue at the district level.
