HIRANAGAR, May 3: A Lok Adalat was organized by Tehsil Legal Services, Committee Hiranagar under the chairmanship of Preet Simran Kour, Chairperson Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Hiranagar.
To settle the cases in the Lok Adalt, a bench comprising of Munsiff JMIC, Hiranagar Preet Simran Kour, senior advocates Thakur Ranjit Singh and Bar president Hiranagar Y P Sharma was constituted which was assisted by advocates Ashok Sharma and Sohan Singh as negotiators.
Among the eight cases taken up seven were settled on the spot amicably which included six post litigation criminal case and one pre –litigation criminal case was settled with the active participation of advocates Sandharabh Dogra and Rakesh Kumar appearing for the parties. Prosecuting Officer Hiranagar J P Singh appeared on behalf of the State.
