JAMMU, Sept 12: Chairman Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and senior BJP leader Baldev Singh Billawaria, undertook an extensive tour of Ward number 55 and adjoining areas in Gandhi Nagar constituency. During the tour, Billawaria listened to the grievances of the people.
People appraised that they are deeply faced by the power problem in the area and a new power transformer is needed while wiring also needs to be replaced. People also raised the demand of putting black topping on the roads of some areas including Shankar Colony. Billawaria assured the people that their every demand would be met. He directed the officials of the PDD to install a new power transformer in area and get their problem resolved at the earliest.
He also assured people about the work laying of black topping of the area will be started soon. He appealed to the general public to keep the area clean in order to maintain cleanliness around them so that people would protect themselves and others in the epidemic and follow all the rules regarding this.
