JAMMU, Sept 12: Holy Chhari Yatra of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji will leave for Katra on October 16 and Pooja will be performed at Durbar on first Navratra.
Addressing a press conference here today Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni said, the 38th Holy Charri Yatra and Jyot will leave Jammu for Katra in the form of a grand rally on October 16 and will offer prayers at the holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi Devi Ji on Navratri on October 17.
He said that information regarding the Yatra has been given to the administration.
“The Charri Yatra will proceed following all the guidelines of COVID-19,” Shiv Sena leader said adding that several senior leaders including Shiv Sena National Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP, Anil Desai have ensured to join the Yatra.
Shiv Sena Women Wing president, Minakshi Chhibber; working president, Ashwini Gupta; General Secretary, Vikas Bakshi; Secretary, Raj Singh, Mangu Ran, Sanjeev Soodan, Rakesh Handa, Geeta Rani, S.R Bhagat were also present in the press conference.
