Install Sitaji’s idol along with Lord Rama in Ayodhya: Dr Karan Singh

JAMMU, July 28: Senior Congress leader and noted scholar Karan Singh today said that the idol of Sitaji should be installed along with that of Lord Rama in Ayodhya since the worship of Lord Shri Rama is incomplete without Sita.
In a statement issued here, Dr Karan Singh said, ”The worship of Lord Rama alone remains incomplete without Sitaji. Hence the main idols in the temple should be that of Lord Rama and Sitaji. A lot of injustice has been done to Sitaji in Ayodhya. Will she be sent on another exile?”
Dr Karan Singh said that a beautiful and grand Shivling should also be installed in this temple as it is well known that Sri Rama worshiped Lord Shiva before and after conquering Lanka. The grand Shiva temple in Rameswaram is a permanent proof of this truth, he added.
“I am a Raghuvanshi and Shri Ram is my patriarch and my ancestors have built the grand Shri Raghunath Temple in Jammu. As far as Bhakti is concerned, I worship those whom Shri Ram himself worshipped,” Dr Karan Singh said.
