RAMBAN, May 9: Police recovered 970 electric detonators from Ukhral area of Ramsoo here today.
As per police sources, information was received at Police Post Ukhral that an unattended bag was lying in the mud with some explosive material near Government Higher Secondary School Ukhral.
Acting over the information, a team from Police Station Ramsoo led by SHO Inspector Rouf Ahmed Khan along with Incharge Police Post Ukhral rushed towards the spot and found the bag.
During checking, 970 industrial grade electric detonators with proper packaging were found in the bag and seized accordingly.
A case under FIR Number 44/2021 under Sections 120-B IPC and 4/5 Explosive Act has been registered at Police Station Ramsoo and investigation started.
