JAMMU, May 15: 92.7 BIG FM, the No 1 FM Radio station of the region, celebrated Akshay Tritiya in a unique style with Jammuites through a contest called Silverlines ‘Sone Ki Jhappi’. This 15 day long event concluded today with the Grand Finale at Silverlines, The Jeweller, Bahu Plaza.
92.7 BIG FM organizes such events time and again to bring people together and provide them a chance to participate in fun filled community events and this time, the activity was designed especially for the married women listeners of Big FM on Akshay Tritiya. Silverlines Sone Ki Jhappi was a 15 day long activity wherein everyday 2 winners were selected through simple contests with BIG RJ’s in which they had to identify the sound of the Gold between the songs playing On-Air.
The 3 hour Grand Finale Witnessed a tough competition, in which women from all the parts of Jammu participated and enjoyed the evening with Big FM team, other than 10 grams of Gold, Chairman Silverlines Sanjeev Saraf also distributed exciting gifts to the participants through the fun filled games played by RJ Manas & RJ Sarang.
Ms. Devi Sathe and Dr Monika Kotwal were the joint winners as they made a record by holding the gold bar for more than 2 hours 30 minutes. On the occasion, Syed Ali Jaffery, Station Head 92.7 Big FM Jammu and Vikrant Sharma Programming Manager addressed the gathering and told them about the relevance of FM Radio in their day to day life where they get enriched along with being entertained and informed and specially salute the strength of the women’s of Jammu by holding the gold bar beyond any one’s expecta
