JAMMU, May 7: The Home Department of Jammu and Kashmir Government today posted, transferred and assigned additional charges to 9 police officers. Among them are five IPS officers.

As per an order issued in this context, Uttam Chand, IG (POS) HQ, has been directed to hold the charge of IGP (Hqrs) PHQ, J&K, IG (Tech) and IG (Telecom) in addition to his own duties, relieving M Suleman Choudhary of the additional charge, and Vinod Kumar, DIG Armed, Jammu, has been asked to hold the charge of DIG IR Jammu in addition to his own duties.
The order further said that Mohammad Arshad, Director, Home Guards, Jammu, shall hold the charge of DIG HG/CD & SDRF Jammu in addition to his own duties, and Hariprasad KK, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as Additional SP Baramulla, against an available vacancy.
Additionally, Kartik Shrotriya, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as Additional SP Anantnag vice Sajad Ahmad Sheikh, and Mukund Tiberwal, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as SP Ops Border & Kandi Kathua, against an available vacancy.
Sajad Ahmad Sheikh, Additional SP Anantnag, has been transferred and posted as SP CTC Lethpora (Vice Principal) against an available vacancy, Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, Additional SP Anantnag (Over All Reserve Post), has been transferred and posted as Deputy CO, IR-23 Vice Rameez Raja, who (Raja) has been transferred and posted as Additional SP Anantnag (Overall Reserve Post) vice Ghulam Hassan Sheikh.
