9 pilgrims among 10 injured

KATRA, July 18: Nine pilgrims from Nepal among 10 persons were injured here today when a vehicle (Winger), they were travelling in after paying obeisance at the cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi, rolled down near Meyari.
The vehicle, bearing registration number JK14C- 8995 , was on way towards Jammu from Katra when it skidded off the road and rolled down in a gorge near Meyari. The injured were shifted to PHC Meyari and then to CHC Katra for further treatment.
Besides driver Mangat Ram, son of Sita Ram of Reasi, the injured were identified as Neer Susa (35), son of Dura Susa, Kumari Susa wife of Dura Susa, Dharmveer Choursia son of Inderdhar Choursia, his wife Sunita Choursia, Seema Kumari (38) wife of Bhubneshwar, Lalan Sa (45), son of Durga Sa, his wife Ramawati (36), Bhubneshwar Parshad (40), son of Partap Narayan and Sumesha Sa (3) , daughter of Neer Sa. All are residents of Veeer Ganj in Nepal.
Their condition of all the injured was stated to be stable.
