UDHAMPUR, Jan 28: Nine persons sustained injuries when a passenger bus, rammed into parapet along Jammu- Srinagar National Highway at Sail Sallan, here today.
The accident took place when the bus, bearing registration number JK02B-5477 was on its way from Doda to Jammu. It met with the accident due to tyre burst following which it went out of control and rammed into parapet of bridge at Sail Sallan.

Locals and Police rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur. Their condition was stated to be stable.
The injured persons were identified as Krish Sharma (7), son of Ajay Sharma of Samba, Kuljeet Singh (20) son of Ram Lal of Prem Nager, Santosh Devi (36) wife of Romesh Kumar of Kangara Himachal, Rekha (32) wife of Raman of Jammu, Reetu Devi (37) wife of Varinder of Kangra Himachal, Kushgar (14) son of Varinder of Kangra Himachal, Mohd Farid (25) son of Sher Mohd of Doda, Pinkey (31) wife of Rajinder Kumar of Himachal and Kerla Devi (35) wife of Ajay Sharma of Samba.
Meanwhile, another accident took place near Dak Banglow Udhampur when a speeding car (JK14F-0923), hit two people standing on the roadside.
The injured persons were identified as Sandeep Sharma (31) son of Raghunath of near Dak Banglow and Romesh Kuamr (28) son of Bansi Lal of Latti.
