384 fresh cases

SRINAGAR, Oct 3: Nine persons died of COVID-19 in Kashmir taking the number of deaths in Jammu and Kashmir to 1234 while Valley reported 384 fresh cases of Coronavirus taking the total number of positive cases in J&K to 78228
The four of the victims are from Srinagar, and one each from Pulwama, Anantnag, Bandipora, Ganderbal and Kupwara.
A 19-year-old of Hahin Shahgund in district Bandipora who died 24 days after he was admitted to SKIMS Soura was diagnosed with AML with bilateral pneumonia.
A 60-year-old man from Nunar in Ganderbal district, a 64-year-old man from Anantnag district and a 75-year-old from Langate in Kupwara district also died at SKIMS Soura.
With these deaths, 1234 people have died due to virus and include 858 from Valley.
And Kashmir today reported 384 cases of Coronavirus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 78228.
Among these Srinagar reported 150 cases, Budgam 43, Baramulla 32, Pulwama 39, Anantnag 28, Bandipora 22, Kupwara 52, Ganderbal 11, Kulgam 5 and Shopian 2.
Srinagar has 15376 positive cases with 1978 active, 13099 recovered, 299 deaths; Baramulla has 4523 positive cases with 1392 active, 3007 recovered, 124 deaths; Pulwama reported 4035 positive cases with 404 active cases, 3561 recovered, 70 deaths; Kulgam has 2290 positive cases with 110 active, 2137 recoveries, 43 deaths; Shopian has 2041 positive cases with 151 active, 1858 recovered, 32 deaths; Anantnag district has 3595 positive cases with 462 active, 3067 recovered, 66 deaths; Budgam has 5023 positive cases with 824 active and 4113 recovered, 86 deaths; Kupwara has 3717 positive cases with 746 active, 2903 recovered, 68 deaths; Bandipora has 3514 positive cases with 416 active, 3060 recovered, 38 deaths and Ganderbal has 2957 positive cases with 278 active cases, 2650 recoveries and 29 deaths.
Moreover, 551 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals from Kashmir division.
And out of 78228 positive cases, 15646 are active positive, 61351 have recovered and 1231 have died including 855 in Kashmir division.
So far 1685809 samples were processed and 1607581 tested negative while 78228 have tested positive.
