KATRA, May 8: An octogenarian on pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, died at a Katra hotel soon after he reached there after performing holy Darshan, here today.
The deceased has been identified as Joginder Parshad (82), son of Kamla Charan of Dehri-on-sone, District Rohtas, Bihar. After paying obeisance at the cave shrine, he along with his other family members reached Katra hotel where he suffered massive cardiac arrest and suddenly felt unconscious.
Even as the family members rushed him to CHC Katra, Doctor there declared him as brought dead.
