RAMBAN, Feb 26: Traffic Police seized 8 vehicles and challaned 397 others in Ramban District today for road safety violations.
A police spokesperson said that action was taken in view of congestion on the National Highway in Ramban Town.
“397 vehicles were challaned for over-speeding, overloading while 8 were seized under the Motor Vehicles Act,” SSP Traffic, National Highway Ramban, Mohita Sharma tweeted.
She said that the drive against the traffic violators on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway shall continue.
