KATHUA, May 3: Eight passengers were injured after a bus in which they were traveling hit a stationary truck parked on wrong side of the road at Thien in Ghalak area of Billawar tehsil today.
According to police a passenger bus bearing registration number JK21 A 1818 which was on its way from Billawar to Jammu after reaching Thien hit a stationary truck bearing number HR 69 -8658 which was parked on wrong side of the road resulting in injury to eight passengers.
Police said seven passengers who belonged to Kathua were admitted in District Hospital Kathua while one lady passenger was admitted in DH Samba. The Hiranagar Police has registered a case and seized the truck.
