8 injured in separate road mishaps

JAMMU, Nov 21: Eight persons including a minor got injured in separate road mishaps in different parts of Jammu region.
According to a police spokesperson, a minor boy identified as Roshan Ali (8) son of Ghulam Ali of Sunjwan got serious injuries when a speeding car hit him near Nowabad area of Jammu. He was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
An aged man namely Subhash (55), son of Bishamber Dass, resident of New Plot, also got injured when the scooty he was riding on was hit by a bike at Bus Stand area. He was immediately rushed to GMCH for treatment.
In another case a pedestrian identified as Bachchan Lal (65), son of Ram Lal, a resident of Mishriwala, got injured when he was hit by a motorcycle at Mishriwala. He was also shifted to GMCH for treatment.
In Chingus area of Rajouri, five persons were injured when the car they were going on suddenly rolled down into a gorge late last night. All the injured identified as Mohd Alyas son of Mohd Yousuf, Iftar Hussain son of Abdul Majid, his wife, Haseena Begum, Mohd Sadiq son of Abdul Satar and his wife Maksooda Begum were shifted to Sub-district hospital Rajouri, from where in view of his serious condition Mohd Alyaz was referred to GMCH Jammu.
In all the cases, the concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
