JAMMU, Dec 3: At least eight persons were injured in separate road accidents in Jammu District today, officials said.
They said an unidentified male, aged around 35, suffered injuries at Digiana Pulli area after the motorcycle he was riding on collided with a truck.
A police Head Constable Naresh Kumar (48) son of Mohan Lal of Gujjru Nagrota, currently posted at Police Station Domana suffered suffered injuries after he was hit by a motorcycle at Check Post Domana.
One Narinder Sharma (30) son of Govind Ram of Reasi, got injured near Hotel Fortune after an auto collided with a motorcycle.
Two persons, Goutam Khajuria (22) son of Abhinav Sharma of Mubarak Mandi and Dinesh Tohtr (22) son of Kuldeep Raj of Muthi, suffered injuries after a Baleno car they were travelling in collided with a Fortuner car near Sunshine Hotel in Sidhra.
Two persons identified as Shamshad (30) wife of Munir Ahmed of Sidhra, and Mumtaz (40) son of Zahoor Hussain of Sidhra, suffered injuries after an Xpresso car hit with another car opposite Hotel Sunshine at Sidhra.
One Joginder (23) son of Ashok Kumar of Nagrota suffered injuries after the motorcycle he was riding on slipped on the National Highway near Jambu Zoo.
All the injured have been admitted to the Government Medical College Jammu while as cases under the relevant sections of the law have been registered at concerned police stations besides further investigations in all the cases set into motion.
