Tightening noose around illegal schools, District Administration has sealed eight such schools in Thannamandi area, which were functioning without valid permission from the concerned authorities.
On the direction of DC Rajouri Vikas Kundal and under the supervision of SDM Thannamandi Vikas Dhar Bagati, Tehsildar Thannamandi Syed Sahil Ali Shah has so far closed eight such schools.
These include AMIE Danna; Chowdhary Bashir Memorial Public School Mangota; Sunshine Public School Bhanghai; Muzamil Institute of Education Upper Alal; Bright Carrer Institute of Education, Begonara; Al Noor Institute Behrote, BJS Dodasan Bala Bassan and Al Madina Tul Ilm Public School Thannamandi.
For inspection and closure of such schools, ZEO Thannamandi deputed a team with Tehsildar Thannamandi. The team also visited Government School PS Mangota and PS Dhaki Sayedan. As staff was allegedly not working properly in one school, Tehsildar issued direction to ZEO Thannamandi for taking strict action against those who are not doing their job properly.
