REASI, Sept 23: District Police Reasi today arrested three bovine smugglers and rescued eight bovines from their possession.
Team of Police Post Talwara, led by PSI Sunil Singh foiled one bovines smuggling attempt in Talwara area and arrested the accused, identified as Shubam Verma son of Rattan Lal of Kot Gahri, Jammu who was smuggling four bovines in a Tata Mobile JK 02AP- 0805.
In this regard, case FIR number 240/2022, under section 188 IPC was registered at Police Station Reasi.
In another incident, Team of Police Post Talwara apprehended two more bovine smugglers namely Ajam Hussain son of Mohd Hussain of Mawa, Tehsil Sunderbani, Distt Rajouri and Khala Din son of Puri Din of Chowki Chora, Distt Jammu. Police rescued four bovines from their possession, which they were transporting in a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK11F- 5231.
In this regard, a case FIR number 241/2022 U/S 188 IPC was registered at Police Station Reasi.
