RAJOURI, June 4: A blood donation camp was organized in Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, here today in the presence of Saint B P Singh (Zonal Incharge, UDH Zone 1-A), J&K.
All the blood donors voluntarily donated their blood during the camp. Describing the importance of blood donation, BP Singh said the message of our Satguru Mata is blood should flows in the veins not in drains. He also added that Sant Nirankari Mission has already hosted 7585 blood drives with a total of 12,47,367 units of blood collected, that is over 3.75 million lives potentially saved in last 37 years.
On the occasion of Manav Ekta Diwas dedicated to the inspirational teachings of Baba Gurbachan Singh Maharaj, a series of blood donation camps are organized in a big way at almost all branches of Sant Nirankari Mission. These camps continue to be organized at various places of the country throughout the year. More than 50,000 units of blood were collected already all over India this year itself on 24th of April, 2023.
Apart from the Indian Red Cross Society GMC and Associated Hospitals Rajouri, Administration officials, Doctors and their trained team reached there for the collection of the blood. Main guests including DSP HQ Rajouri Mudassir Chowdhary along with Municipality Chairman Arif Councillor were present to boost the morale of the donors.
