70 test +ve in J&K, 9 in Ladakh

JAMMU/SRINAGAR /LEH, Oct 27: Seventy persons today tested positive for COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir and nine in Ladakh.
Among 70 cases, 64 were reported from Kashmir division and six in Jammu region.
Two cases each were recorded in Jammu and Doda districts and one each in Kishtwar and Reasi districts. Rest of the six districts didn’t report any new cases.
Nine persons recovered from the virus leaving 121 active positive cases in the Jammu region.
All nine fresh COVID positive cases in the Union Territory of Ladakh were today reported from Leh district.
Ladakh now has 41 active positives cases—39 in Leh and two in Kargil.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported 64 fresh cases of COVID-19.
Those who tested positive include 49 from Srinagar, 3 from Baramulla, 3 from Budgam, 4 from Kupwara, 2 from Bandipora and 3 from Ganderbal.
The number of cases in Kashmir division has reached 207,567 including 204,595 recoveries and 2,255 deaths.
The number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 838 including 717 from Kashmir division.
With 86 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 326,596 which is 98.41 percent of the total cases.
