Srinagar, May 14: Police today said fire broke out in the quarters of Irrigation Department at Khawaja Bagh Nardu Colony in Baramulla. In this incident six quarters got partially damaged.
In another incident, fire broke out in the joint residential house of Bashir Ahmad Badan and Mohammad Rafiq Badan, sons of Fakir-ul-lah of Dachi Baramulla, resulting in the partial damage to the house. Fire also engulfed an adjacent cowshed of Mohammad Rafiq, resulting in the death of 21 cattle including 10 sheep, 10 goats and a cow.
