7 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, Nov 23: Police today said seven persons were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
A police spokesman said here that a tractor bearing registration number JK03D-6403 skidded off the road near Higher Secondary School Marhama in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district, resulting in injuries to the tractor driver namely Arif Ahmed Bhat and another person namely Rouf Ahmed Bhat. “Both the injured have been shifted to Sub District Hospital Bijbehara for treatment.
He said a sumo vehicle bearing registration number JK05C-7925 collided with another Sumo vehicle bearing registration number JK01D-1040 at Sangrama on National Highway in Baramulla district, resulting in injuries to four passengers. “All the injured have been shifted to the hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the spokesman said.
The police spokesman said an unknown vehicle hit a motorcycle near Shahbaz Colony Shartgund Payeen in Qalamabad area of Kupwara district, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist namely Mushtaq Ahmed Dar resident of Pringroo. “The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
