SRINAGAR, Dec 27: Seven persons were injured in a road accident on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway, police said.
A police spokesman said seven passengers were injured in a collision between a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK0IT-4962 and Maximum vehicle bearing registration number JK03E-0508 near CRPF Camp Awantipora, resulting in injuries to seven persons.
The injured have been identified as Noor Aalam Sheikh (45), his wife Meenara (42) his two daughters Amreena Noor (16 and Misba Noor (13) all residents of Kolkata at present Habakadal Srinagar, Mohd Syed Sofi (37) resident of Sofi Gund Wanpoh Anantnag, Abdul Kareem (22) resident of Assam and Abdul Aziz (30) resident of Assam.
All the injured have been referred to Srinagar hospital from Public Health Centre Awantipora.
Police has registered a case in this regard.
