KISHTWAR, July 20: Seven persons were injured, when the load carrier they were traveling in, rolled down into gorge near Seri area of village Sigdi, here today.
As per police sources, a load carrier was on its way from Kishtwar to Bhata, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down near Seri area of village Sigdi, causing injuries to seven persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Kishtwar, where they were undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
The injured have been identified as Ghulam Rasool, son of Abdul Ahad, Mohammad Iqbal, son of Ahmdu Haji, Abdul Rashid, son of late Ghulam Mohidin, Fareed Ahmed, son of Bashir Ahmed, Bashir Ahmed, son of Karim, Shabir Ahmed, son of Abdul Latief and Bramanand Sharma, son of Roshan Lal, all residents of village Sigdi.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at concerned police station and investigation started.
