PATTAN, Aug 8: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Peerzada Mushtaq Ahmad Shah has put seven officials of Municipal Committee Pattan under suspension based on the recommendation of Sub Divisional Magistrate Pattan who made surprise inspection of the Municipal Committee’s office today.
During the visit, the Sub Divisional Magistrate found 7 officials absent from their duties. Later on, the Sub Divisional Magistrate in a letter to the Deputy Commissioner made a recommendation for the suspension of these officials.
Sub Divisional Magistrate Pattan, Hamida Bano said that she had received complaint against the employees of Municipal Committee Pattan regarding their usual absence from duties. The Sub Divisional Magistrate also said that the presence of employees in Government offices is continuously being monitored and enhancement in work culture is the way being looked upon.
