REASI, July 6: Foiling an attempt of bovine smuggling, Arnas Police today rescued seven animals, which were being taken to Kashmir.
Police also arrested two smugglers, identified as Bashir Ahmed son of Mohd.Hussain of Mehal Kainthi and Nazir Ahmed alias Totu son of Abdual Aziz of Bagali Kainthi, distt Reasi. The duo was intercepted by Police at Kainthu when they along with seven oxen were moving on foot towards Kashmir.
In this connection, a case FIR Number 48/2018 under Section 188 RPC has been registered at Police Station Arnas.
