RAJOURI, Dec 27: A Lok Adalat was held in the District Court Complex here under the chairmanship of Inder Singh, Principal, District and Sessions Judge.
During the Lok Adalat, two benches were constituted. The first bench was headed by Inder Singh, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority and assisted by Rajainder Sapru, Additional District and Sessions Judge, whereas the second bench was headed by Mehmood Choudhary, Chief Judicial Magistrate and Sarfraz Mewaz, District Judicial Mobile Magistrate.
A total of 61 cases were settled in the Lok Adalat and an amount of Rs 4,18,000 was awarded as compensation and Rs 4850 was realized on the spot.
