SAMBA, Dec 12: Six persons were critically injured when the truck JK05C-5655 coming from Kathua side hit the Santro car JK02AM-5000 crossing from Gurha Morh on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway in the jurisdiction of Vijaypur Police Station today.
According to the report, people from the vicinity immediately rushed the injured to Vijaypur Hospital where from they were referred to GMC Jammu after being given first aid by the doctors.
The injured were identified as Jaswinder Kaur, 55, wife of Mohan Singh resident of Gho Manhasa Marh, Manjit Kaur, 45, wife of Arjun Singh, Charanjit Kaur, 55, wife of Gurdial resident Mishriwala Jammu, Lakhwinder Singh, 27, son of Mohan Singh resident Gho Manhasa Marh, Jammu, Swarna Kaur, 62, wife of Mohinder Singh resident of Gho Manhasa Jammu, Manjit Kaur, 65, wife of Arjun Singh resident Gho Manhasa Jammu.
Treatment of all the injured is underway at Jammu Medical College. The Vijaypur Police has arrested the truck driver and seized the truck and started further Investigation.
