6 injured in accident

BHADERWAH, Sept 22: Six persons were injured, when the car they were travelling in met with an accident at Pakkipari area, falling under the jurisdiction of Assar Police Station.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK06-0846 was on its way from Baggar to Batote, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and fell into 125 feet deep gorge at Pakkipari area, resulting into injuries to six passengers.
After getting information, police team led by SHO Assar Naveen Agarwal rushed to the spot and with the help of locals started rescue operation. All the injured persons were shifted to Emergency Hospital Batote, from where 4 persons were shifted to GMCH Jammu for advanced treatment.
The injured have been identified as Amit Bandral, son of Hem Raj, Hans Raj (50), son of Sant Ram, Kashmir Singh (45), son of Chandu Lal, Anar Singh (47), son of Chandu Lal, Om Kar (50), all residents of Bhaderwah and Arun Kumar (15), son of Bimal Kumar, a resident of Assar.
A case in this regard has been registered at Police Station Assar and investigation started.
