POONCH, May 24: Six passengers were injured, four of them seriously, when an over-speeding tempo rolled down at Draba, near Ratti Pasi area of Surankote, here today.
The Magic Tempo, bearing registration number JK12- 2240 was on way from Surankote to Bufliaz when it rolled down into the gorge while negotiating a sharp curve. Driver of the Tempo fled after the accident.
The injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Surankote where doctors referred three of them to GMC Rajouri and one to GMC Jammu for advanced treatment.
The injured were identified as Hafeez Khan (25), son of Iqbal Khan of Bufliaz, Mohd Naseer (29), son of Wazir Hussain of Surankote, Mohd Narool (25), son of Mehar Din of Bihar, Mohd Saraj (23), son of Lal Din of Bihar, Mohd Alam (23), son of Mohd Sayeed of Bihar and Mukhtar Ahmed (40), son of Mushtaq Ahmed of Taranwali.
