JAMMU, June 19: Police today arrested six gamblers and recovered Rs 2800 from their possession. The arrested gamblers have been identified as Ajay Kumar alias Kaki Nai, Bansi Lal, Vinod Kumar and Shiv Kumar, all residents of Janipura Colony, Sham Sharma of Amritsar, presently putting up at Janipura Colony and Vijay Kumar of Lakkar Mandi. A Janipura police station team headed by SHO Inspector Narinder Singh conducted raid at the gambling den of the accused and arrested all of them. Police recovered Rs 2800 stake money from the possession of the accused. A case against the accused has been registered at Janipura police station for further investigations.
