JAMMU, Jan 5: Talab Tillo police arrested six gamblers along with Rs 2460 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Talab Tillo Police Post conducted raid in Puran Nagar area and apprehended six gamblers along with Rs 2460 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons have been identified as Ramesh Kumar, son of Kirpa Ram, Ishwar Khura, son of Mangal Khura, Manoj Kumar, son of Firet Ram, Santanu Kumar, son of Sunder Lal, Mohinder Kumar, son of Soda Nand and Ramesh Kumar, son of Sita Ram.
All the gamblers have been booked under section 13 Gambling Act by Nowabad Police.
Police team led by Incharge Talab Tillo Police Post SI Vikrant Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Nowabad Inspector Neeraj Bhagat, SDPO West Sheema Nabi, SP City Amritpal Singh and SSP Jammu Tejinder Singh.
