JAMMU, Aug 20: Akhnoor police rescued six bovine animals.
As per police sources, during patrolling in Sohal area at about 0430 hours, a team from Akhnoor police station intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK02BL-0231.
On seeing police cops, the driver accelerated the vehicle and after parking it Troti Khad, escaped from the spot taking benefit of the darkness.
During checking, police rescued six bovine animals and seized the vehicle.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Akhnoor police station and hunt has been launched to arrest the bovine smugglers.
