REASI, Feb 9: Police today arrested a father and his two sons for smuggling bovine animals to Kashmir and rescued all the six animals.
Acting on specific information, SHO P/S Mahore and Incharge Police PP Shajroo laid a naka at Budhankote near forest hut and rescued 6 bovine animals from the possession of Ali Mohd and his two sons Mohd Hussain and Mir Hussain, residents of Budhan tehsil Mahore.
The accused persons were carrying these bovine animals without any legal documents. They intended to smuggle these bovine animals towards Kashmir via Dagan Top. Police arrested the accused persons and registered a case FIR No.05/2017 U/S 188 RPC at Police Station Mahore.
