JAMMU, May 7: Bus Stand Police arrested six persons with Rs 11800 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Bus Stand led by SHO Inspector Vishal Shoor under the supervision of SDPO City Sharad Kalu and SP City Kulbir Handa conducted raid and arrested six gamblers along with Rs 11800 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested gamblers were identified as Ravi Sharma of Resham Ghar Colony District Jammu, Omkar Chand of Shiv Nagar District Jammu, Dalbir Singh of Dogra Hall District Jammu, Roshan Sharma of Resham Ghar Colony District Jammu, Deepak Sharma of Bhagwati Nagar District Jammu and Rattan Lal of Dharabshalla District Kishtwar, at present Resham Ghar Colony District Jammu.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at Police Station Bus Stand and investigation started.
