SRINAGAR : A moderate intensity quake, measuring 6.5 on the Richter Scale rocked Kashmir, including Srinagar in the wee hours today, forcing people to rush out of their homes in panic in biting cold conditions. The tremors, which were felt at 0044 hrs, lasted several seconds. The epicentre of the quake was 191 km deep in Afghanistan-Tajkistan border. There was no report of any loss of life or damage to property, official sources said. (UNI)
