JAMMU/SRINAGAR/LEH, Feb 7: Fifty nine persons today tested positive for COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir while 60 recovered from the virus.
Jammu region reported 13 fresh cases and Kashmir 46.
Of 13 cases in Jammu region, eight were reported from Jammu district and five in Udhampur district. Rest eight districts didn’t report any COVID positive case today.
Twelve persons recovered from the virus, 10 in Jammu and one each in Kathua and Poonch districts.
Jammu region now has 51650 Corona cases. Among them, only 113 are active positives while 50815 have recovered from the virus and there have been 722 casualties, the highest being 371 in Jammu district followed by 64 Doda, 57 Udhampur, 55 Rajouri, 53 Kathua, 40 Samba, 24 Poonch, 22 Kishtwar, 21 Ramban and 15 in Reasi district.
Meanwhile, 46 people today tested positive for COVID-19 in Kashmir.
There are 630 are active cases, 122335 have recovered and 1944 have died including 1222 in Kashmir division.
Moreover, 60 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals including 48 from Kashmir division.
Meanwhile, the UT of Ladakh today reported three more COVID fresh cases, all in Kargil district.
